Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. The holiday is observed every year on the last Monday of May.
Feast of the Ascension. Eucharist at 5:30 p.m., followed by a ‘Wine and Shrimp Feast’ in the Parish Hall at 6:15 p.m. Reservations are required, with a sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall. Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
